Old Pictures from the Back Yard

I found these pictures on my computer the other day and have neglected to
post them on here for quite some time. I thought they were really cute so here they are!

This was back in May he was only 7 months old here.

He used to love playing in his jumpy seat. He was so happy when he could reach the banana and the parrot. It was so cute.

He wasn't so sure about the grass

Boy time has really flown by. I can't believe he is already one, walking, and on the verge or talking up a storm. I miss the warm weather already. :(

Going to Great Grandma B's

Stratton and I went to see Grandma B the other day. He had a really good time even though it was getting close to being nap time.
Stratton had to scope out the place as soon as we walked in the door

Great Grandma B had so much fun watching Stratton dance.

He really likes to push buttons...even though he doesn't know what they do.

I got tired so then it was time to go home. I had such a good time. The dog scared me a little and he wouldn't stop barking. But other than that I had SO much fun with Grandma B.

Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

Ok guys. I know I don't run anymore but I'm going to try to get back into running again.
On December 12th, 2009 I'm going to do the one mile walk for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk.

The Jingle Bell Run/Walk raises awareness of the nation's
most common cause of disability, while raising desperately
needed funds to help find a cure for arthritis!
All proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation.

Raise $100 and receive a Jingle Bell Running hat or a Jingle Bell Run Commemorative tree ornament.

I'm going to try to raise as much money as I can so if you all would like to donate please let me know.
If you would like to write a check make it payable to The Arthritis Foundation.

I hope you can come out and either cheer us all on or come out and walk/run also. It's for a great cause and even though it's going to be cold it will be great.

Hope to see you there!

Here is the flyer for it.

Please pass on the word, anything helps.

Halloween and a Wedding!

Sorry it's been a few days since I have posted. I've been super on the go since like Thursday of last week. We went to Lexington, Ky for Eric (my cousin) and Meredith's wedding. They got married on HALLOWEEN! How cool is that. They even got married in an actual haunted house! It was pretty neat. My mom and dad drove out on Friday morning with Stratton. Friday afternoon Derek, Casey, Marcus and I drove out together. We stayed at Auntie Pams house for the weekend. The Wedding was on Saturday at the Wallis house. Stratton got to put on his costume for the night and was a huge hit with everyone! He didn't have much fun at first and we couldn't figure out why... then one very stinky diaper later he was back to his usual cheery self and was great for the rest of the night. The wedding was beautiful and the food was great. I know Derek and Marcus had a good time matching each other beer for beer and drinking Kentucky Ale. I sware those two are horrible when they get together. Well anyway, here are some pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!

Stratton found a friend.

He loves dogs and apparently liked this one too.

He didn't do very well with the stepping stones.

This is how he sleeps in the car now. Hands on his head and a frowny face.

Rawr!!! He's our little dinosaur.

Isn't he the cutest?

On the way to the wedding.

Yay for weddings!

The Brennan girls

Stratton and Momma waiting for the wedding to begin.
The Wedding

He carried that bottle around all night long.

He played with the girls for a while. They chased him around and he would scream like a girl.

Mommy was tired.

I think Mady and Grandma Kathie had a little too much candy.

Dancing!

He loved dancing with his Great Auntie Pam

Not sure what Stratton was doing here.

Derek and Stratton were dancing the night away.

Stratton and my cousin Beth. She was dying to hold him all night and he was being a turd about it.

Me, Stratton (the Dinosaur), Mady (Dorothy), and Anna (cowgirl riding a horse) standing outside the Wallis House

Stratton, Grandpa, and Great Great Aunt Cece were having so much fun watching videos on the computer.

Ali Turner

Hey guys. So most of you all know my friend Ali. She's been my best friend since 7th grade and got me into horses and different odd jobs at barns and what not. She's been my friend through thick and thin and even introduced Derek and I. Well, since 8th grade she has been trying out the career of modeling. She has done awesome awesome work and has gone to many different places to model for such companies as Tommy Hilfiger, Dillards, Glo Jeans, etc, etc... She has been on so many print ads that I can't keep track anymore. It's crazy because if you google Ali Turner her face pops up! Well, Ali has been given the opportunity to compete to be a Victoria's Secret Angel. Here's the Website for the Contest She went to Chicago to see if she would be one of the Top 8 out of the entire nation. In Chicago alone there were over 3,000 girls. They took those 3,000 girls and chopped it to 40, then 10, then 2. They told her if she didn't get a phone call by tomorrow that she wasn't going to be part of those final two. Well, she got the phone call. She was chosen as the top 2 from Chicago. There were 8 other girls picked from New York, L.A. and online. So Ali is now in the top 10, she's flying to N.Y. today and she is going to be in a Mini Series on CBS. We will find out Dec 1st if she is going to make it to the VS runway show to be an Angel. Her chances are high and we are all rooting her on.  Keep her in your prayers and visit the website often to vote for her! Good luck Ali! We love you!
