Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was FULL of things to do on Stratton's very 1st Easter! We had many places to go and many faces to see. We started the weekend off right and got some cute Easter treats in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Bono up in Chicago. Here is one of the great presents that she sent us. Stratton loves to roll on the floor with this big guy.Saturday we got to eat lunch with Great Grandma Maxine, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Garrett. Uncle Garrett was making Stratton laugh SO hard.

After we ate at Great Grandma Maxine's Stratton and I went up to see Grandma Kathie at work out at Trail of Tears. We got to see snakes and different animal skins. We even got to see a squirrel hanging upside down from a bird feeder.Grandma Kathie let me chew on the bunny pelt. Yumm.
Stratton liked to look at the bull snake even though Grandma Kathie said he's not very nice this time of the year.

We watched this squirrel hang out on the bird feeder for quite a while....upside down.

We found the geo cache. Put Stratton's name on it. Then we put it back.

After we went to the park we went to Grandpa Dale and Grandma Lisa's house for dinner where Stratton got to play with little J.D. We ate dinner then went home and watched movies. Sunday morning we got to eat breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa B at Crackle Barrel. After breakfast Stratton and I went home and took a nice long nap while Derek went to Kristy' s house (Grandma Lisa's sister). After the nap we went to Great Grandma Marge's house for dinner. Stratton's Easter outfit was SO cute! It's the one that Grandma Brenda bought us.
Derek's Easter outfit wasn't quite as cute as Strattons.
Stratton's new favorite thing to do it bite noses.
Totally guilty.

Great Grandma B loves her little Stratton.

Big Smiles! Isn't he the cutest!

Aunt Casey bought eggs for Stratton to find. Since it was raining outside we had to find eggs inside this year. Which was ok.
He had to put EVERY egg in his mough. This one is my favorite one. It is tie-dyed!

He even held his own basket!

I helped.

He found the peeps Aunt Casey bought him too.
He really wanted one.

We looked at old pictures while we were there too.

He loves when you sneak up on him and go "I'm gonna GET you!"
Ready to go home and eat lots of peeps!
Grandma Marge's beautiful tulips.

Hi Emily, Just love all the pictures and was so glad we could all be together for Easter. That Stratton is changing way too fast but such a sweet little guy.

Love, Grandma and John
