BirchBox

I finally got another subscription to BirchBox.  It has been far too long since I have received those awesome little boxes in the mail each month full of goodies.

I was so happy to see this cardboard beauty in my mailbox.
The first product I tried was the Divine Legs by Caudalie. The full size version of this product retails for $38. It's a tinted lotion that "imparts firmness, moisture, and a beachy glow-plus it won't rub off."
First of all, this stuff does not smell good AT ALL! I'm super pasty white so even with all the "circular motions" that is tell you to use while applying, it did not "blend in seamlessly." It also rubbed off in chunks. Not a product I would recommend for pasty girls like me but maybe someone a little darker it could work on. As for the smell...maybe spray some body mist on after you use it.

Purminerals CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 40 retails full size for $38
I'm pale and this stuff actually worked great with my skin color in the light shade. It wasn't too thick for me which is usually a problem. I don't like feeling like I'm caked in makeup and this stuff is really super light. I might consider buying this in the full size version soon.

Classic Face SPF 30 Cucumber Moisturizer for Face by Coola retails for $32 in a full size.
The BirchBox Bobby Pins come in a set of six for $5.
This CC Cream I have yet to try out but it smells amazing! The Bobby Pins are an awesome park this month. They're a lot bigger than regular bobby pins which is nice for all the hair that I have now a days. They're pretty too so that is a perk. They're really light and show up great in my dark hair.

Number 4 Super Comb Prep & Protect retails for $32 in a full sized bottle.
It's been a while since I have actually used a hair dryer so I have yet to try this product out just yet.

Made Up Monday

Yesterday I went to Sephora (surprised?) and got a makeup bag that I had been eying for the last month. It's not the actual bag that drew me to it but what was inside the bag that I was wanting. I wear A LOT of browns and golds when it comes to my makeup. I have this weird blue/gray colored eyes and they don't really pop with any other colors. Most of the time people think my eyes are brown because they're so dark. But, alas, they are blue/gray. Anywho, back to the bag.

The collection is called "Dare to Wear Gold" and includes a 5-piece kit from bareMinerals. I'm always looking for makeup bags that are small enough for my to lug around but big enough that I can throw some brushes in it without messing up the bristles. This little bag is the perfect size. It's just long enough for me to put my bushes in and they don't get smashed up on the sides. Not to mention I can throw A LOT of makeup in it without it weighing me down too much. I love the gold and snake patten on it too.

The compact that is included in it contains a blush and luminizer in the shades "The Natural High" (blush) and "The Shining Moment" (luminizer). I tend not to use really pink colored blushes but I'm always willing to try something new. I really like the color of the luminizer. It's light and works great for highlighting your cheek bones, nose and under your eyes.

The main reason why I fell in love with this little bundle was because of the eyeshadow. The colors are "Double Dare" which is a super pretty light gold. This color is perfect to use in the corner of your eye closest to your nose. I also use it right below my eyebrows as a highlighter. The other color is "Wild Thing" which is a gold-flecked bronze color. I would use the "Wild Thing" color to go in the middle of my eye between the "Double Dare"  and a darker brown or black on the outer corner of my eye.

I am a HUGE fan of Moxie lip gloss. They discontinued a lot of the Buxom lip gloss and started to phase in these Moxie glosses. "Rockstar" is the color they included in this collection. It's very nude and really only has a bit of gold/pink to highlight your lips. Super pretty and just enough color to give your lips some highlighting.

It also has that oh so wonderful tingle that Buxom included to make your lips plump. If you're like my sister and don't like that stingy/tingly feeling from the lip plumper I wouldn't recommend the Buxom or Moxie lip glosses.

The collection also included a "Round the Clock" waterproof eyeliner which I of course forgot at home. But, I'm not much on pencil eyeliners so I probably won't wind up using it very often.

Product Review of the Day

I would like to start out by saying that I have not been this happy about it being Friday in months!
Finals are over and I couldn't be more excited to see this weekend. No more teachers no more books! I'm even more excited because not only did Derek and I get our Christmas bonuses at work, but I actually got to get out and do a little shopping with my two favorite men and have supper going at home while we shopped. Score! P.S. I need to give a little shout out to my girl Leslie for the awesome Chili Recipe! If you don't know it already, she's also having an awesome giveaway for the 12 days of Christmas. Check it out!

You all are so lucky today. You're getting THREE posts!
Product Review

Fist up is a new mascara that I'm trying out. I got it at Sephora last night on my Christmas Bonus shopping spree. The name of the product is by the company Beyond Mascara and the type is called They're Real!
The second product that I got last night was an eyelash curler. It's not your momma's curler though. It's heated! Yep you read right. Heated!
I took pictures from no having makeup at all to all decked out in eye coverage. Here's how it the process looked. I started out with just using my face primer all over my face and eyelids and then did my Bare Minerals matte foundation.
Next I put on my eyeshadow.
Here's what eyeshadows I used to get this look.
A. Sugar Skull by Kat Von D. It's a translucent green color. It's perfect for high lights.
B. Pussy Cat by Bare Minerals. It's a goldish brown color. I love it for the smokey daytime look.
C.  Oasis by Bare Minerals. This was another splurge that I bought myself yesterday. It's a really pretty gold/green color. It's bold but not too dramatic.
D. True Gold by Bare Minerals. This is a beautiful gold color. I usually use this as the middle color for a more brown/gold eye but I thought it would look pretty as a little darker highlight on the inside of my eye.

Once I had my eye shadow on and blended neatly I moved on to my mascara. Now, normally I wouldn't move right on to mascara. I take this time to put on my eyeliner. I think it's easier to put on eyeliner when you don't have to fight with your eyelashes. But for the sake of showing off more of the mascara and not my eye lining skills, I skimped out on the eyeliner today.
There's a pretty big difference between not having any mascara on at all and using this new mascara. It was really easy to put on and the picture above is only after one coat! I like to put at least two on just to make sure I get the dramatic look I like to go for but the second coat wasn't needed in this instance.

Last was the new heated curler! I'm not gonna lie. I hate curling my eyelashes. HATE IT! I always wound up smashing them and they look like a mess. Either that or I would wind up pinching the inside of my eye because of the crimper thing. So, when I saw this heated eyelash curler it kind of made me a little bit giddy to try it out since it's a wand instead of a torture device.
All you do is put in the AAA battery (which is included) and flip on the switch. There's a little orange indicator light that shows that it's on. Next, you wait 15-30 seconds for it to warm up (I waited a whole minuet just to be on the safe side). Then you brush it over your mascara. This produce was designed specifically to be used over mascara because it gently warms the waxes in the mascara. This apparently causes your mascara to be stronger and longer lasting! Check and check!
Here is the after result for the Heated Eyelash Curler.
I was a pretty impressed by it's curling abilities. I liked it MUCH better than the crimper version too.
Here's the beginning to end process so you can see it a little better. The only down side I saw was that even thought it curled them I had to apply a little bit more mascara after it was curled because it did take off a little bit of it. But overall I like it!
Hope this helps you all out at least a little bit, especially those you like me that hate to curl your lashes.

Erin Condren

Hi, my name is Emily and I have the worst memory ever.
There I said it.

I HAVE to write down everything that I do or have done or else I forget it. I have one planner that I have in my purse at all times and a desk calendar that I make for myself each month. I write down literally everything. If I ate with someone, I write down when and where I ate. If I have an appointment I write when it is, where it is, the contact number, EVERYTHING.

So, for me to get a different planner outside of my usual B&N planners that I have bought for the last 7 years it's a big deal.

Some of my friends have been getting on the Erin Condren band wagon and I was kind of skeptical at first. My friend Ashley (who by the way has some really exciting posts coming up about her adoption as they are bringing their son home THIS WEEK!) had a coupon for $25 off a planner or something from the store. I decided that was sign enough for me to get one. The $50 price tag was a little steep for me since I only but the $10-$12 planners from B&N usually.

I found a color and design that I liked and placed my order, two weeks later. This is what arrived on my door step.
I'm still getting used to the way it's laid out and finding all sorts of new cool things in it that my other planner didn't have. I'm not going to lie though, I will be keeping my B&N planner close by as a back up. Just in case. It's always nice to have backup.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I will have a post of my weekend up very shortly.

Staying Safe in the Sun

Everyone that knows me KNOWS that I'm not just pale. I'm WHITE. I have no skin color and the only color I get fads very quickly. That being said, I can burn really bad really quick. I have been looking online about sun safety and also at different products to help with sun safety so...this post is all about the sun and what you should do to keep yourself and the ones you love safe in the sun.

I would like to start off with a small video that is a little scary but very well worth the few minuets it takes to watch it. It's not meant to scare but it's defintiely made to make those out there aware of the dangers of skin cancer. Please take a min to watch this and if you can, pass it on to the ones you love.

There are many different factors that increase your and your family's chances of getting skin cancer.

Here are 6 factors that will help you consider putting on the SPF.

1. A Family History
About 10 percent of melanoma cases run in the family. If your child has a first-degree relative -- you, your spouse, or a sibling -- who develops melanoma, he has a 50 percent greater chance of getting this cancer than someone without a family history. (If the cancer occurs in a grandparent or an aunt or an uncle, there's still a risk but it's not as great.)

2. Many Moles
Moles that are present at birth are the most dangerous. But the bulk of kids develop moles in response to sun exposure, and the more moles your child has, the greater her risk of developing melanoma later in life, says Elizabeth McBurney, MD, clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine, in New Orleans.

3. Past Sunburns
Bad burns -- as well as cumulative exposure to UV rays -- can cause genetic mutations in the skin that increase the risk of developing melanoma.

4. Fair Skin and Light Hair
If your child only has a little pigment (melanin) in her skin, she's more vulnerable to UV radiation. "Kids with fair skin have about four times the risk of developing skin cancer later in life than kids with a darker complexion," says Parents advisor Lawrence Eichenfield, MD, chief of pediatric and adolescent dermatology at Rady Children's Hospital, in San Diego. Redheads and blonds have a two- to fourfold increased risk of developing melanoma -- even if they do tan.

5.Living in a Southern Latitude or at a High Altitude
It's no surprise that children who live in Florida are exposed to more sun and are more likely to develop skin cancer than kids who live in northern Maine. But the same holds true if your home is in the mountains of Colorado or California. "Living at higher elevations exposes you to more UV radiation -- about 4 or 5 percent more for every 1,000 feet above sea level," says Dr. McBurney.

6.Being an Athlete
If your child plays a sport like soccer, swimming, or track, she'll spend more time in the sun -- and a study from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine found that 85 percent of young athletes don't use sunscreen. But this is one risk factor that's reversible; make sure your child goes out to the field wearing sunscreen and, when possible, UV-protective clothing.

There are also some horrible myths out there about sun safety as well. Here are some myths that you might have thought were true but are definitely not!

Myth: My child won't get burned if she's wearing SPF 50.
Truth: If you don't apply enough -- or if you don't reapply it -- your child can still get burned, says Ann Haas, MD, chair of the AAD's Youth Education Committee. The guideline is to apply at least an ounce of sunscreen over your child's entire body; with spray sunscreens, make sure you saturate all of your child's skin. You also need to put more product on your child every two hours and after she swims or sweats a lot. "The term 'waterproof' is misleading -- all it means is that the sunscreen protects you for up to 80 minutes in the water," says Elizabeth McBurney, MD, clinical professor of dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine, in New Orleans. "But some will still wash off in the water and be rubbed off when your child dries off with a towel."

Myth: Getting a tan isn't dangerous.
Truth: Sunburns definitely increase the risk of developing melanoma, but your kids are still at risk of getting skin cancer even if they always get a golden tan. "We know now that the more sun your child gets, the more likely he or she is to develop basal-cell and squamous-cell skin cancers," says Dr. Eichenfield. "Any sign of color means that the skin has been damaged."

Myth: My child is mostly inside, so I don't have to worry.
Truth: You may have to, especially on sunny days. Window glass only filters out UVB, so UVA can still penetrate your child's skin if she's standing nearby. "We used to think that only UVB rays were dangerous, but now we know that UVA rays also cause skin cancer," says Parents advisor Jody Alpert Levine, MD, a pediatric dermatologist in New York City. When you're going on a long car ride, put sunscreen on your child's hands, forearms, and face before hitting the road. If her play area or desk is right near a window at home or at school, she should also wear sunscreen to reduce exposure.

This myth is particularly important because I know a lot of people who think this is true!
Myth: My baby shouldn't wear sunscreen.
Truth: You should keep your baby out of the sun, but there may be times when you can't avoid exposing her. The American Academy of Pediatrics says it's safe to use a small amount of sunscreen on an infant, but you should do a "patch test" the day before by putting a little on the inside of her wrist to check for irritation or allergies.

Myth: My child needs some time without sunscreen to avoid vitamin D deficiency.
Truth: You've probably seen news reports about how we all need sunshine to help our bodies make this important nutrient. However, the AAD says that both kids and adults can get enough vitamin D through day-to-day sun exposure, multivitamins, and foods like milk and fortified orange juice. "Any healthy, active child who spends time playing outdoors is going to get more than enough sunlight for adequate vitamin D production," says Sandra Johnson, MD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, in Little Rock. "Studies have also shown that people who wear sunscreen regularly don't suffer from vitamin D deficiency."

Now that you know the facts here are some products to help protect your little one.

Cutest Babysuit Ever!
If you've got a young baby at the beach, put him in a sun-protective romper -- it takes away a lot of the worry and lets you focus your sunscreen application (and reapplication) on his extremities. We love this Baby Surf Suit from Mini Boden. $38, 866-206-9508, bodenusa.com

Serious Sunscreen
Badger, with SPF 30, gets high marks for being a pure zinc-oxide barrier. That means it turns your kids' skin a little white, but that's good, because you know if you've missed a spot and you can see when it starts to rub off. It's also at least 60 percent certified organic. $16, Whole Foods, badgerbalm.com

Serious Sunscreen
Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby is brand new this year. It's SPF 60, with a blend of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that forms a physical barrier against the sun. It's safe for babies 6 months and up -- or younger if your pediatrician gives you the okay ($10, drugstores)

Take More with You
Keep MD Moms Sunscreen Towelettes in your diaper bag at all times and you'll always be ready to reapply sunscreen. The wipes don't weigh as much as a bottle of sun lotion, so they're easy to cart around, and each towel should be able to completely cover a 2-year-old with SPF 30 lotion. $26 for 15, 888-636-6672, mdmoms.com

Watch the Feet
Experts say that babies' feet are often forgotten when it comes to sun protection -- and think about it, what other body part stays out of the stroller? Especially if your child kicks off shoes or balks at sandals, try these sun-protective Surf Socks sold through One Step Ahead. $10, onestepahead.com

Put a Lid on Them
Yes, it's hard to get a kid to keep a hat on his head, but you gotta try. It protects the scalp and face, two places where it's tough to get on sunscreen. These SPF 50 baby hats are from Wallaroo Hat Company. $20, wallaroohats.com

The Final Touch: Sunglasses
If it's hard to keep a hat on your baby, it might be nearly impossible to keep her in sunglasses. But Julbo Looping Sunglasses are the best we've found -- they can't be easily tossed off, and they really cover the eyes for maximum protection.  $30, julbousa.com

The face is something that most of us tend to forget to protect. I for one NEVER forget to put sunscreen on my face. Even if I'm inside for 50% of the day I still put my face lotion with SPF 30 on daily. It's so important to protect your face from those harmful rays. With my mom, my sister and my aunt having "scary spots" taken off of their face in the last few years, it has been a huge reminder not to forget to put sunscreen on my face. My mom had a spot taken off of her upper lip, my sister had something taken off of her chin and my aunt had something taken off of her nose. That's a pretty scary thing to think about. Here are some "Elle Magazine approved" face lotions that you might want consider.

“doesn’t leave you shiny” and is “invisible under makeup.”
Clinique Face Cream SPF "won't clog pores" and "absorbs in seconds."
“Keeping every ray away,” La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid is “worth every penny.
The “only product you need in the morning,” Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 “protects and softens skin.”
“Fresh-scented” Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion SPF 38 “is light and nongreasy on skin.”

I use the Aveeno daily and I would highly recommend it. It's worth being a little shiny around the edges over having to go under the knife for a sun spot.

Don't forget to cover up your eyes when you go outside too! Wearing sunglasses isn't just about looking stylish.

Wear sunglasses that block UV rays

UV-blocking sunglasses are important for protecting the delicate skin around the eyes, as well as the eyes themselves. Research has shown that long hours in the sun without protecting your eyes increase your chances of developing eye disease.
The ideal sunglasses do not have to be expensive, but they should block 99% to 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. Before you buy, check the label to make sure they do. Labels that say "UV absorption up to 400 nm" or "Meets ANSI UV Requirements" mean the glasses block at least 99% of UV rays. Those labeled "cosmetic" block about 70% of UV rays. If there is no label, don't assume the sunglasses provide any UV protection.
Darker glasses are not necessarily better because UV protection comes from an invisible chemical applied to the lenses, not from the color or darkness of the lenses. Look for an ANSI label.
Large-framed and wraparound sunglasses are more likely to protect your eyes from light coming in from different angles. Children need smaller versions of real, protective adult sunglasses – not toy sunglasses.
Ideally, all types of eyewear, including prescription glasses and contact lenses, should absorb the entire UV spectrum. Some contact lenses are now made to block most UV rays. But because they don't cover the whole eye and surrounding areas, they are not sufficient eye protection when used alone. via

Last but not least is sun care for your pets. via

Our cat Groucho has no hair so of course he stays indoors for the most part. But pets that stay outside often don't get the sun protection that they need.  Here are some helpful tips to help your four legged friend when they are outside.

Provide shade
Availability to shade and fresh water should be available at all times to keep your pet comfortable and prevent heat stoke. This is obvious, but for outdoor pets, if their quarters can be fully shaded (such as a kennel), risks of sun damage are greatly reduced. Consider a sun block top for outdoor housing.

Provide sunblock
Like humans, pets should have sunblock applied to sun-sensitive areas such as tips of ears, nose the belly and groin areas that typically have sparse hair coverage and thinner skin. Cats love to sunbathe and some dogs will too, belly up. Additionally, many people get "summer cuts" for their cats and dogs to reduce matting and keep the pets comfortable in the summer heat. Sunburn is a definite possibility, and groomers should warn pet owners of this possibility.

What products are safe to use for pets? It should be remembered that dogs and especially cats are adept at licking off topical lotions, sprays and creams. These substances can be toxic for dogs and especially for cats. It was once recommended that anything safe for human babies would be OK to use on pets with supervision (let the lotion soak in before licking can occur), and that is a guideline, but with the following considerations in mind.
Using products on a species not covered by product usage guidelines is off-label usage. Please consult with your veterinarian prior to using any human products or medications on your pet. Toxicities resulting from off-label usage by pet owners was the number one pet health insurance claim in a survey by VPI. It is very important to read all instructions and directions before applying any product to your pet.

Pet sunscreen tips:

1) Use pet-safe sunscreens if possible As of this writing, only one has FDA approval, and that is Epi-Pet Sun Protector. This is great news for dogs and horses, but unfortunately is not able to be used on cats. A feline sunscreen is being worked on, however, hopefully out within a year. I spoke with Lisa, the marketing director for Epi-Pet, and she said that two of the ingredients commonly used in sunscreens break down in cats to salicylic acid, a.k.a aspirin, a known toxin for cats.
2) Feline sunscreen protection is trickier Avoid products with Octyl Salicylate, Homosalate and Ethylhexyl Salicylate (common sunscreen ingredients). Products containing Titanium Dioxide as an active ingredient are OK to use on ear tips and noses. This ingredient works by physically blocking the sun's harmful rays, so it is not absorbed (much) by the skin. (This is in contrast to sunblocks that work to chemically block the sun's ray.) The Epi-Pet spokeswoman said that this compound is toxic if ingested, so caution is advised.
Sunscreens contain ingredients that are absorbed through the skin and are regulated by the FDA. All ingredients should be listed on the container. Sun Protection Factor (SPF) has not been rated for animals, and because of this, SPS of animal-specific products should be labeled as "comparable to" their human counterparts, according to FDA requirements.

I hope this is informative to someone out there. I am very adamant about putting sunscreen on myself and my family. Especially Stratton because unfortunately he got his momma's skin color.

Product Review

I'm not a "girly girl" per say, but I love to paint my nails and I love to look a little girly every now and then.

As much as I love to paint my nails...they don't last long and I always wind up taking it off after a couple of days. I've been trying to find better ways to paint my nails and make them look better longer but it just doesn't work out. I can't paint my right hand worth a crap and it just winds up looking horrible. Not to mention the fact that having a 2 1/2 year old doesn't let my dry time for them last very long so they wind up getting bumped or scuffed. This being said I'm trying something new.

I'm trying this.

Salon Effects - Real Nail Polish Strips

They were the easiest things to put on. All you do is peel the strip, line it up on your finger, press it on, and file off the excess....THEN DONE! It's amazing. No wait time to dry, no struggling with having to paint your dominant hand, easy peasy!

This was the color I chose. I love really sparkly nail polish so this was perfect.
This is what they look like after 3 days! Usually by now they're half gone from getting picked off or nicked. I'm loving these!
For $9.99 they are a little bit pricey but they are definitely worth it. It's less than having it done at a salon and they look just as good. If you're really lucky you can get a coupon in the paper every now and then for a dollar or two off of a Sally Hansen product. That includes these!

Hope you all get to try these out and if you do let me know what you think!

Sometimes you just have to shop

The last couple days I have been a MESS. Seriously,I have been out of whack and have been a mean/moody/crying pile of hormones. It doesn't help that I'm stressed at work and school and at home. I can't get away from the stress. I get to work and I'm stressed. I go home and my house is a mess...so I'm even more stressed. Then I realize that I have a boat load of projects due next Wednesday for school and I get even more stressed. I needed a break from everything and nothing is better than going and burning a little plastic (if you know what I mean). My friend Lauren has been stressed too from her job as a teacher. We got together last night and spent some $$ at the mall. It was just what I needed. I got a few items on sale at hollister. Seriously, I got a cardigan ($45) and a long sleeve gray shirt ($35) for $24.  I felt pretty good that I got some good shirts for pretty cheap considering Hollister is SO expensive most of the time. I did splurge on my self last night though on one thing. I'm so proud of these things. Not only are they AWESOME but they even help get closer to crossing one more thing off my 101 in 1001. I got these!
I got them at journeys last night and it was seriously what put a huge smile on my face (since Stratton wasn't home this morning to do it first).  I know they are super gaudy and I love it. I know shopping isn't always the best thing to do when you're down and I know it doesn't fix why I'm stressed but it definitely brightened my day and I'm happy with my buy. Not to mention a few of my friends work at journey's and they gave me a free pair of ballet slipper socks with gel backing for FREE! I love my friends. They definitely make my life so much better. Thank you Lauren for assisting me with my retail therapy! Love you girl!

I finally did it...

I bought....

*drum roll please*

THE CITIKITTY
(via)
I'm not sure if any of you have seen this "as seen on TV" product. I know I haven't but my sisters friend Teresa got it for her little fur baby and she said it's been going pretty well for her. I'm a little worried just because Groucho is SUCH a big cat that the might miss or splatter before we actually get him to the litter free stage. It will be a lot of cleaning that's for sure. I'm just so tired of vacuuming up all the crystal litter out of our carpet down stairs and not to mention the last 3 times I've been to PetCo because of this lovely product they haven't had the trays that I need for it
I have been there three different times trying to get trys for this stupid "no scoop" kitty litter box.
It's horrible. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. It was almost $50, the trays are another $15 every couple of weeks and on top of that you have to use the really expensive crystal kitty litter. It's a pain in the butt to say the least.

For the CitiKitty I got the flush-able kitty litter
  $14.99

and the CitiKitty starting kit
$29.99

All together with shipping and handling it was still less than what I spend the first month on the crappy no scoop litter box. I'm super excited about this and I really really hope it works out. I can't wait to see if he really does it and if he starts using the toilet. Ah!
I know I know. I'm a dork but I just can not stand all the blue and white kitty litter crystals all over my house.
It's NASTY!

I got a new swim suit!

Now I need to start getting in shape so I look good in it...

Thanks to my friend and fellow blogger Leslie I found a new swim suit for this summer!
I have been a little self conscious about my "after baby butt" so I have been looking for a new swim suit.
Let me know what you think.
I got it here.
I got the black bottoms and the green top
Thanks again Leslie for the recommendation!

I also updated my 101 in 1001 check it out!
